How to mute audio of video ads?

Question

My phone has Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
even when it's on silent mode, some apps show audible video ads.

How can I mute the ads audio?

Yes, I set it to the (Do not Disturb) mode. Maybe the ad audio plays on media channel — Abdulrahman Bres, Feb 19 '18 at 12:30
@Abdulrahman yes you definitely have to put media on silent, putting ringtone on silent won't help in this case — aBochur, Feb 19 '18 at 18:07

It turned out that video ads use the media channel
I have muted the phone media and the ad audio was muted as well.
