I've got a strange problem with a directory after I put a new SD card in my Android phone. I formatted the SD card as internal storage and moved the data from the phone to the SD card.

Now, I can't access the 'Music' directory however. When I login with adb shell, I get the following listing which seems ok. The directory has the same permissions and owner/group as the other folder; however, entering the Music directory is not possible (with a permission denied message).

athene_f:/storage/emulated/0 $ ls -l
total 496
drwxrwx--x 6 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 18:36 Android
drwxrwx--x 2 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 19:05 Audio
...
drwxrwx--x 4 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 18:38 DCIM
drwxrwx--x 2 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 19:05 Document
drwxrwx--x 2 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 18:38 Download
drwxrwx--x 2 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 19:05 Movies
drwxrwx--x 4 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 18:37 Music
drwxrwx--x 2 root sdcard_rw 4096 2018-02-20 19:05 Others
....

I can enter the directory via MTP and the Android builtin File Management, but then it's not possible to create files.

My phone is not rooted, otherwise this would be easily fixed of course. Also, I need the directory working properly as some music players use the directory.

What could be wrong and how can I fix it without root?
