I tried changing the setting from Charging Only to Transferring Media Files, as advised in Question "Windows 10 won't recognize my Samsung Galaxy S6", and some other StackExchange answers.

But the PC (Windows 7 Pro --I know-- old as dirt) does not recognize any files. It shows the phone name in Win File Exploerer, but does not open Card and Phone entries below it. (They are not even displayed.)

Do I need some drivers on PC? If so, explicitly, which ones?

Anyone? -thx in advance
