I recently bought a second hand Google Pixel C .when I powered it ON it asked for a password and the message read ENTER PASSWORD TO START ANDROID. Can anyone help me to get in?...I mean don't want to factory reset it because I want to lose any data..or is there any way I can factory reset and recover the data afterwards so??

EDIT: I bought it from my friend and he just wants his data to be safe....

Why don't you want to lose any data? It wasn't your phone, and the data on it isn't yours presumably. I would try to factory reset it, if I were you. – Flimm May 5 '18 at 12:50
  • Though you might then hit the "factory reset protection" (FRP; see our factory-reset tag-wiki). Why not asking the seller to fix it? – Izzy May 5 '18 at 13:44
  • It's my friends so he wants the data – beast May 6 '18 at 5:56
  • And is there any method to bypass frp on pixel c? – beast May 6 '18 at 6:22
