I'm using Moto G5 Plus (32GB) with the latest updates (Android version: 7.0 Security patch: April 2018). Somedays back I noticed something wrong with my SD card. It's not showing in file manager app(Motorola's default) but I could see it in settings>storage. I have installed ES File Explorer and I can see SD card in this app and access contents of it but I'm unable to delete or copy (its like having only viewing rights). I have also tried connecting it to PC and it just showing only Internal storage.

  • Try the card in a different phone (like a friend's) or directly in your computer (via a card slot or card adapter - not through the phone) and see if it works one of those ways, for troubleshooting purposes. Sounds to me like the card's dead though. Did it get wet, damaged, hang out near a speaker or other magnet, etc? – ashleedawg May 21 '18 at 21:16
