Every device has it's own android versions, usually made by the OEM. What I'm asking specifically is: What is the difference between eg. Android Oreo for Galaxy S7 versus Android Oreo for OnePlus?

PS: I want to modify Stock-Android 8.0 to run on my phone, because it's stuck on Android 6.0...
