When I try taking hundreds of photos in quick succession on two different mid-to-high-end Android devices (Samsung Galaxy S6, Motorola X4), the camera app crashes or fails while shooting.

The result is missed photo opportunities.

Note that I'm not talking about using the camera's burst mode. I'm referring to pressing the shutter button about 200-300 times over the span of 3-5 minutes. Each time I do that on the Samsung or the Motorola, the camera app will eventually crash.

Is this an undocumented Android limitation, or did I happen to just test two models that are buggy and have this limitation?
