I have JavaScript disabled by default in Chrome, with per-site exceptions for a few sites which I trust. However, I now find myself in the position of wanting to run JavaScript on a local HTML file with a file:/// URL. When I attempt to add this URL as an exception, it clearly fails validation: the URL is coloured in red and the "Add" button is disabled.

Is there any way to enable JS for this local file without having to enable it for all sites and without going the whole hog and writing an app?
