The SD card is there (16 GB) but my internal memory isn't (16 GB). I also can't download files/apps, I can't share things on FaceBook due to internal storage, and going into a file manager doesn't show an internal storage, just my SD card. My SD card is formatted as internal storage, and my phone reads that there is internal storage and a separate SD card when going into the settings menu, but can't access it in any way other than that. I've tried unmounting the SD card and remounting it etc. etc. Never rooted my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated please!

  • I also can't take screenshots, if that helps. – Adam Harvey Aug 17 '18 at 18:02
  • It might help if you mentioned the phone make, model, and exact Android versions... There are multiple devices with "broken" implementation of adopted storage that could account for this. Often the only fix is a factory reset. – acejavelin Aug 17 '18 at 20:26
  • It's a Motorola Moto G4 Plus running Android 7.0 – Adam Harvey Aug 18 '18 at 7:55
