I have downloaded platform tools and adb-setup.exe which installs adb and fastboot i think, further on opening cmd after clicking shift + right click in platform tools i open cmd and here i typed command 'adb devices' which gives device and on typing 'adb reboot bootloader' command ,the device reboots and now i type command 'fastboot devices' which shows nothing.

Using Nokia 3 device for this and using Windows 10.

  • does it work with win10 – Arsalan Nov 16 '18 at 6:25
  • Oh... Sorry that's a Linux based solution – beeshyams Nov 16 '18 at 6:59
  • You can try usual solutions - changing ports, USB cables, reboot and drivers – beeshyams Nov 16 '18 at 8:11
  • Try going into recovery mode then manually entering the bootloader by using the volume buttons to navigate to reboot-bootloader. Then try using the fastboot devices command. If that still does not work try this fastboot command instead: fastboot.exe -i 0x2e04 [Your_Command] so it would look like fastboot.exe -i 0x2e04 devices let me know if any of those work. – Bo Lawson Nov 18 '18 at 1:54
