So, I upgraded my phone; Samsung treng plus, from jelly beans 4.2.2 to Marchmellow 6.0. But, the problem is that it crashes everytime. I believe due to the my phone's weak CPU.

So I want to go back to the former operating system but I don't know how.

thank you.

  • Possibly maybe, depending on some variables. Is the marshmellow a custom ROM? What was the android version before installing marshmallow if custom ROM? Samsung has a security feature called rollback protection fuses along with secure boot since I believe android 4.3. However, if it is a custom ROM the maybe the bootloader was not changed from the original android version that was on th device and you can roll back to that. I do know but you can always attempt the change to see if it fails with error: "FAIL! (fuse x binary y)", with x = value on the device, and y = value of the update. – Bo Lawson Nov 20 '18 at 19:10

  • @Marouane provide more information in the question. e.g. custom/stock ROM and other details as asked in the comment by Bo Lawson. – Deepak Gangwar Dec 14 '18 at 9:58
