There is no way at the moment, to install Linuxonndex on other Android devices (not Tab s4 or note 9)? I tried apk of apkmirror on my oneplus 6t, but it stays stuck on the start screen... 😭

  • If you have rooted device, use any Linux distro available for ARM64 (Ubuntu, Debian, ArchLinuxARM, Void and so on) inside chroot. For further isolation use mount and/or network namespaces. Other namespaces (pid, uts and user) can be enabled by rebuilding kernel. Works perfect on all devices. – Irfan Latif Nov 21 '18 at 12:12
  • Ok, but how I can install this distro (for arm64 of course)? Is there a specific app? – Teodoro Coluccio Nov 21 '18 at 12:56
  • Yes there are apps like Linux Deploy but I'm not talking about using any app except a terminal emulator. It's a simple step by step procedure and I think there's no complete tutorial available online. I'm planning to write one and I have written some in raw form but it needs time to convert it to a comprehensive tutorial with "why" and "how"? :) – Irfan Latif Nov 22 '18 at 15:38
  • Ok, I'll wait your tutorial ;) – Teodoro Coluccio Nov 22 '18 at 15:39
  • Also because I don't understand what you intend for terminal emulator... If I don't wrong, there isn't terminal emulator in Android stock, only in rom – Teodoro Coluccio Nov 22 '18 at 16:14
