I use Samsung S7 SM-G930FD and the screen has been unresponsive since 2 weeks ago.

I did hard restart and sometimes I tried removing the battery connector. Sometimes the touch screen become responsive but sometimes still unresponsive.

I tried replacing the battery (without the original battery) and still unresponsive but better than the original battery.

The screen was not cracked and before the screen was not responsive my phone never fell before.

If I turn mobile data and wifi off, the touch screen become responsive for 2 or 3 days. If screen unresponsive, I just lock the phone and leave it 2 - 5 minutes and the screen works normally.

What should I do ? Do I have to replace it with an original battery?

Or the touch screen is broken ?

  • Does it work when you connect your phone to the charger? If yes then it may be the battery. – Robert Dec 26 '18 at 12:54
  • Hum this is weird. Hard to say if it a harware issue or a malware activity. But I'd go for the latter explained by the fact that the unresponsiveness doesn't happen when data connection is turned off... I may be wrong though – esQmo_ Dec 26 '18 at 12:54
  • @Robert ya, sometimes it works and If i remove the connector the screen sometimes returns unresponsive. – Chris Dec 27 '18 at 1:27
