When controlling my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A3 2017) via a Bluetooth remote, eg. when listening to music in my car and pressing the volume or back/forward buttons, the screen lights up brightly for a few seconds and then returns to the Always On standby display.

As you can imagine, while driving, especially in the dark, this is very irritating. Is it possible to disable this by any chance? I already found out myself, if I disable the Always On display completely, this lighting up of the display won't occur. So I guess it has to have something to do with the Always On feature. I can't really find anything to tackle my problem however and I'd highly enjoy keeping the Always On display activated.
