Just bought an Android tablet (so I'm fairly new to it) and want to check out in how far it can replace a desktop PC.

So I want to connect it to a monitor. In various posts it's described how to do it. What I am interested in is this (because I've nowhere read it): when the connection of tablet to monitor is there, is Android then displayed on the full monitor screen, does it fill out the whole screen? How to achieve this scaling? Does it work by default? Do I need to have apps (Andromium?).

Plus: what about the connection via dongle? Does it only cast media and stuff or does it actually really mirror the Android surface as such (and my desktop replacement could eventually work completely wireless, also having bluetooth mouse+keyboard)? thx
