Ok my question is regarding my lg V10 smart phone. Everything works great on it, but it is not useable or doesn't even turn on and stay on unless I've got it plugged in. Its 100% fully charged but as soon as I unplug it from charge it shuts off immediately. I'm clueless when it comes to these things so I'm in desperate need of some help. Please help me!?! Thanks

  • Does it really "Shut Down" as in power off, where you need to power it on again to work? I believe you mean it times out too quickly for you, and this is something that can be changed with a setting. An indicator is that it does not lock while charging (standard related setting). To change your display timeout, see the setting Settings > Display > Screen Timeout . This setting may be too low for you to be comfortable. Set it to a longer duration. On my Samsung, the settings are 15 or 30 seconds, 1, 2, 5, or 10 minutes. Select your choice and experiment with the comfortability. – wbogacz Feb 4 at 13:56
  • Hi and thank you so much for your reply back. The answer to your question....YES it shuts down.....as in POWERS OFF COMPLETELY!!! As soon as I unplug it from charging it POWERS off COMPLETELY. Battery is 100% only way I can use my phone 1st all is to always keep it plugged in. Please HELP – Jessica Feb 4 at 15:58
  • This sounds like a malfunctioning or dead battery. Have you tried reinserting the battery or trying a new battery? From what I've Googled, you can replace it yourself. – MoonRunestar Feb 4 at 16:34
  • Thank you MoonRunestar!! Yes I've took out battery and reinstated it and still POWERS off. It says Battery 100% Fully Charged. But still as soon as I unplug phone it powers off. – Jessica Feb 4 at 16:38
