I've set an animated wallpaper on my Galaxy S9 (one that was included with the device). It displays correctly on the lock screen, but somehow gets blurred on the home screen. Is it possible to disable this blur effect?

Lock screen (no blur)

I think its not blurred, it applied two wallpapers, one for lock screen and other for home screen. Open wallpaper app, and select any wallpaper, and select this option set as Home screen and Lockscreen. – Rahul Gopi Feb 7 at 10:18
  • It seems you're right. Well I've actually applied the wallpaper to both, but when looking at the preview, there's two different versions - one normal for the lock screen, and one blurred for the home screen, and there's no option to change this. I guess I'll just use a different wallpaper then. – laurent Feb 7 at 10:25

To set Wallpaper(single wallpaper for both screens):

  1. Open wallpaper app, and select any wallpaper, and select this option set as Home screen and Lock screen OR Set Both(option in Google wallpaper app) .

  2. Press and hold home screen, the screen will shows three options, Wallpaper, Widgets and Settings(home screen). Tap on wallpaper, and select any wallpaper, the select set as HOME screen and Lock screen OR Both as options mentioned above.
