Commonly observed behavior:
I'm at location X.
Google knows I'm at location X, when I open the app or website it shows a blue dot in my exact location
I search for, say, "Chipotle"
first option is in a city 500 miles from my current location
second option is 3 hours drive from my current location
third option is 2 hours drive from my current location
fourth option is 3 hours drive from my current location
yet, there is a chipotle 12 minutes drive from my current location.
The only way to circumvent this seems to be to force it to not try and autocomplete, and issue the full search for "chipotle" and then click on the map spot indicator manually, which is slow and cumbersome.
I can't fathom how this is desired behavior on Google's part. Please save me
