I am looking for a method to change the active boot slot on an A/B device using ADB or terminal with root (su) access. I have done enough of googling and I have not arrived on a valid answer to my problem.

I know how to the active slot using fastboot, so, please do not direct me to that answer. The complication with my device is that changing active is not allowed over fastboot due to fuse. While I look for ways to disable fuse, that's for another time.

Also, I believe it is possible as Magisk Manager does have the capability to install Magisk to other slot after OTA and set that as active.
