In my moto g(4) wifi frequently disconnects and then when we open the wifi settings it shows that scanning for networks and sometimes even shows no network available (although I have 10 wifi's surrounding me) and then after sometime connects but repeats the same process after a few seconds. PLease help out!!!

  • Is only one device affected? Your problem description sound to me like a frequency jamming problem: Wifi uses 2.4 GHz which is also used by other services. If too many devices and too many services use the same frequency range at the same time everything is jammed. – Robert May 12 '19 at 11:21
  • Can you help me solve this problem. – Androiderone May 12 '19 at 11:25
  • Check your router. Make sure your Wifi is not configured to a 40MHz wide channel (maximum theoretical speed, maximum interference by other services). You can also test a different Wifi channel. – Robert May 12 '19 at 11:36
  • I am not having problem with my router it works just fine on other devices but the mobile is having the issue. – Androiderone May 12 '19 at 11:49
  • Then there are not many options: Try a factory reset and/or install custom ROM. Unfortunately LineageOS has dropped support for Moto G4 (athene) last November. Therefore there are no longer official builds available. – Robert May 12 '19 at 11:59
