I have a Chinese Android unit without physical buttons, stuck in a bootloop (the home screen appears but the unit resets after a few seconds). When I connect a USB keyboard and press ALT GR and PRT SCR at the same time, the machine reboots into recovery mode but displays 'no command'. I'm stuck from there on since you are meant to press specific hardware keys to bring up the menu. I want to reset the system back to factory settings. How can I bring up that menu with a USB keyboard?

  • a picture would be helpful and any technical information about the device you can gather – alecxs May 25 '19 at 20:33
  • mediatek chipset only: wait for the battery is drained. it will work in preloader mode while switched off. you can make a full backup with SP Flash Tool from preloader mode. now you can enable usb-debugging and flash back modified backup. i will post instructions if you know it is mediatek – alecxs May 25 '19 at 21:14
