so i know that talking about a sim card is not about android but, i have locked my sim in the past but i still have been able to use my phone. i have a Samsung S 9+ but it's just saying to type in a personal unlocking code and not letting me do anything on my phone. I have tried to call my serves provider and look on there website but no luck. is this normal or just my device? please help.

  • If a SIM card is present Android requires to unlock the SIM card, otherwise it won't start. As a workaround just remove the SIM card. – Robert Jun 5 at 13:32
  • on some devices you can switch to airplane mode – alecxs Jun 5 at 16:01
