I want to revive my old Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, but since it has only 8 Gb of Rom, I would like to get rid of all those Samsung unused apps that suck my internal memory. I am about to root it using SuperSU but I don't know if it is going to trip my Knox counter. I don't care about voiding warranty, what I am worried about is the fact that some apps that I plan to install won't be able to work, eg. my home banking app (not sure about that) or Samsung Pay (for sure). My questions: will rooting with SuperSU trip my Knox counter? Is there another rooting app/method that won't? I am not interested in flashing another ROM for now, only rooting to uninstall protected apps and possibly to move apps to SD card.
