I am trying to add another Google account to my phone. Whenever I hit add account, I get a Confirm password window which asks me to Enter your current password. I've entered 100 passwords to no avail. What is this password? If it's the device password, where do I find the device password?

You don't understand... There is no "device password" to add an account, it wants the password for the Google account you are trying to add. If you don't know it, you should go to accounts.google.com/signin/recovery and attempt to recover the account. – acejavelin Jun 28 at 0:21
  • @acejavelin Any recent Android version makes you confirm your screen lock before permitting you to add a Google account – colbycdev Jun 28 at 16:51
  • @colbycdev Yes, I understand that... But it only requires the same PIN, passcode, or fingerprint used to unlock the device, what I meant was that there is no special password to add a new account. – acejavelin Jun 28 at 19:11
  • @acejavelin ok gotcha – colbycdev Jun 29 at 0:42
