I've been researching that but I still haven't found a solid answer, so here I am. Is there a way to manage fonts in Android system-wide, without root access? I'd like to install different fonts to use with my design apps, but so far I haven't been able to get anything to work, which is quite frustrating. I've read there's a new way to make use of different fonts which is called "Font Providers". Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I can get all my apps to share fonts with one another? It would seem that moving *.ttf files to /system/fonts would work but I believe that actionre requires root access, is that correct? Finally, is there a filder like /etc/usr/fonts that could be suit the purpose I describe here?
