I am currently trying to enable diag mode on my rooted LG Nexus 5 (android 6.0.1), in order to work on a network traffic analysis program. This program requires access to dev/diag directory, which for some reason does not exist -or does not show up- on my device. After entering the following command:

adb shell
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb

the dev/diag directory still doesn't show up. I even flashed a custom kernel (ElementalX) and disabled SELinux, as some people mentioned online, but still no luck. Is it a Nexus 5 issue, which is just not able to get access to this directory, or am I missing something? Thanks
