I'm testing out the IP WebCam Pro Android app on my ancient LG G2 and newer LG G6 devices. First, I started out on the older LG G2 device. I was able to set a maximum video resolution of 2560x1440 on the LG G2, using either the web interface remotely from my computer, or the app settings interface on the device. When I changed over to testing the app on my LG G6 (Android 8.0.0), I can only select a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. I know that the LG G6 rear camera is capable of recording at least 4k video, so I would expect to see similar (and more) options than what the LG G2 had.

There are actually two rear cameras on the G6, the 4k camera, and the lower resolution wide-angle camera. I have tried select both of these as the "primary camera" in the IP WebCam Pro app, but the video recording resolution was still limited to 1920x1080.

Question: Does anyone know why the LG G6 would be limiting me to selecting 1920x1080, when my older G2 can select a maximum of 2560x1440 for the video resolution?

I've also e-mailed the author to see if they can help figure out what's going on. It might be a bug, due to the confusion of the two rear cameras.
