I have Oppo R7 which tells me its internal storage is full despite me not putting any file in the internal storage. When I try to factory reset or hard reset it, it only leaves me with 200 MB instead of 1.4 GB which gets full within the same day before I add anything on the internal storage. How do I clean install it and install an updated software?

  • 200 MB is not normal after factory reset. post the output of df from adb shell (pastebin.com) – alecxs Jul 19 '19 at 13:16
  • I don't understand what you mean alecxs – denis yego Jul 19 '19 at 15:14
  • "df" is a console command which will show the storage usage. connect your device with PC and type it. you need to enable USB-debugging in Developer options. on PC you need proper installed drivers and platform_tools. pastebin.com is a site where you can post the result of this command. i believe your data partition is wrong sized/not proper formatted. i have seen this for f2fs file system on other devices – alecxs Jul 19 '19 at 17:13
  • ok I will do that and post it there.thank you – denis yego Jul 20 '19 at 6:51
