My Note 4 started randomly turning off and on a while ago and I thought it was because it was getting overheated so I would pull the battery out and cool it off before turning it back on.

Now the phone doesn't seem to want to turn on often and when I do get it to turn on it gets stuck on the sprint logo. I have managed to wipe the cache but that didn't seem to do anything.

All I'm trying to do is to recover photos on the phone so I can bury this phone. I've found information about flashing it with stock firmware and that would fix it but I'm getting conflicting information that it won't delete media (photos, videos, music, etcetera) but then I find posts that state the opposite.

What can I do to get all my photos off this phone?

  • not sure about verizon, but i would give a try to flash twrp with odin. if you are lucky this will work with locked bootloader. from twrp you can get all your files back – alecxs Jul 19 '19 at 21:45
