If I replace the motherboard on a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 with a larger RAM [from 16 to 32Gb] how do I transfer/reload the software from the original MB?

  • same as migrate from one phone to another; use common backup/restore solutions – alecxs Aug 6 '19 at 14:09
  • Will the new motherboard normally have the operating system/boot file already on it ... just needing apps moved over from old phone/google play-store backup? – Ray H. Aug 6 '19 at 18:58
  • nope, you need to flash stock ROM with Odin3 fw.updato.com – alecxs Aug 6 '19 at 19:05
