Tried following many threads online telling me to move APK to my systems root folder, other folders etc etc.

Ofc I have "Unknown Sources" checked.

Downloaded the apk from official Amazon website (over 10 times). Followed their instructions to the letter. Soft/Hard resets of phone aplenty!

Same result every time. "PARSE ERROR There was a problem while parsing the package"

The only thing I haven't yet changed (except phone OS!) is I have used Chrome broswer to download the APK every time.

I really don't feel like installing a custom ROM on my phone. Its a stock Note 3 running 'latest' os (Android version 5.0).

If you need any info please let me know.

Anyone know a way around this, I really need it installed. Thanks

  • Did you try some older version(s) of the app? Or tried the same version on some other device? Also tried adb install? Can you open the apk file in some zip explorer? – Irfan Latif Sep 10 '19 at 14:18
  • well i couldnt find any other versions of the app. It is an Amazon app for those who want to deliver parcels for them. I think you need the current version only. However, after tearing my hair all morning I have now installed a custom rom with Android 6 and it works. My best guess is that Amazon have listed old system requirements and not updated them when they changed the apk (just a guess) – Big T Larrity Sep 10 '19 at 14:37
