This question already has an answer here:

how to avoid apps being deleted from memory when android resets? Every now and then something goes wrong with google play and a lot of my apps are deleted. It takes a long time to re-install everything and all the data is lost. Seems to be a google play issue?

  • Reset is reset. You maybe can move app data to external storage, though. – 43488 Sep 12 at 8:48
  • You selected the tags factory-reset and ram. Can you explain how they are related to Google Play Store? – Reddy Lutonadio Sep 12 at 8:51
  • Sorry... guess it's the wrong tags? I'm a bit clueless with android... – JLCP Sep 12 at 9:45
  • This happens wether apps are in internal memory or external. – JLCP Sep 12 at 9:46
  • An app's data would still be deleted during factory reset, so the best bet is to have a custom recovery setup to take scheduled full data partition backup and upload them somewhere for safekeeping. – Firelord Sep 12 at 12:47
