I had a micro sd HC card of 4gb 100% filled, no free space whatsoever, with audio files, wav and mp3, because its coming from my TASCAM audio recorder.

As I couldn't find the usb cable for the recorder, I put it into my Huawei p20 lite phone and connected to the computer, to access it that way.

It seems the android system overwrote some of my files with some new folders (like LOST.DIR, even though its empty), and now at least one of my files is missing and one of them is strangely there with the size of 0.

Any suggestion about what could I do to recover my files?

  • LOST.DIR is created by FAT filesystem, not by Android. It's unlikely that Android overwrites some file, except if it formats the whole SD card. – Irfan Latif Sep 30 '19 at 14:53
