I have an old Samsung Note 5 which was working fine till now up to when suddenly it got restarted and afterwards its finger touch is not working. The S-pen touch is working fine.

I have searched on google about the issues and found some cracks to solve the same:

  • It was mentioned to switch off the phone and then again start.
  • Doing factory reset from the settings.
  • Another solution was to press the volume up and home key at first and afterwards press the power key and factory reset the phone from there.

I have done the restart thing several times as of now and also the factory reset has been performed thrice but the situation remains the same.

Can anyone here face the same problem? Or found out the way to solve this? The above solution was from Samsung experts so contacting Samsung centre would not be feasible. I'm looking for a better option which cures this problem.
