In WhatsApp on my android phone I generally export some lengthy chat to gdrive. WhatsApp provides a variety of 3rd party programs to export into. I always use gdrive. After exporting I clear chat. This is done to save space locally. This has worked well for me.

Coming to the problem. Once the export failed due to lack of internet. Without realising the failure I cleared chat in WhatsApp. The error from gdrive was, "Upload failed - Failed to schedule 1 file for upload".

I believe WhatsApp would have created a temporary file of the exported chat. Gdrive wasn't able to upload this file. I assume the export still resides somewhere on the phones file system. Is this assumption correct? If yes, where can I locate the file. Please help otherwise I will lose the chat history.
