How can I stop firmware update?

  • 1
It might make answering this question easier if you would state your make and model of phone, and current Android version, as this answer could vary widely depending on your answers. That said, unless there is a very good reason not to keep your device on the current firmware, it usually best to stay up to date for both security reasons and to stay current with features. – acejavelin Sep 14 at 23:25

It depends of your phone brand but you can do it by going to setting > system > update > and uncheck or disable automatic system update.

Else, you should keep your phone system up-to-date for security reasons.
