How many times can one purchase an app and refund and continue to do so?

Wouldn't continuous refunds hurt Google ?

Paid apps/games!/in-app purchases can only be refunded once. If you buy the app again, you can't get refund

From Play Store help (see Refunds & returns → Learn about refunds on Google Play →Google Play refund policies)

Note: You can only return an app or game for a refund once. If you buy it again you will not be able to get a refund. If a refund is issued you will lose access to the item.

  • I am not sure about the EU law and it's applicability or non-applicability. Maybe you can ask in Law Stack Exchange – beeshyams Nov 28 '20 at 5:06

@appdev That EU page you linked in your post comment already mentioned an exception for digital goods, and Google's specific policies for EEA countries already take advantage of that clause support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7659581?hl=en – Martheen Nov 28 '20 at 5:28
  • This is actually becoming a law question but I was wondering do I have g to refund internet download costs or not? – appdev Nov 28 '20 at 5:43

@appdev No one is going to refund the download cost (or electricity cost, the time spend for waiting & installing, etc). You don't pay Google/dev for the internet connection, just the app, and you don't pay your utility provider for a "satisfactory download", just an agnostic connection. – Martheen Nov 30 '20 at 12:59
