I'm new to iptables and I want to block some ports. I'm using a rooted Android phone. What commands are used to block three different ranges of ports or block all ports except two? I don't want to prevent myself from browsing the web.

Hello. IPTables is not Android specific. You should be able to get started with tutorials on the web. Recommended is to use a Linux distro in a Virtual Machine or Android x86 to learn IPTables. – Firelord Mar 7 at 19:47
  • I've done research but the commands I've tried don't work. I get an error message so I was hoping to get answers I could copy and paste. – Shar Mar 7 at 20:40
  • I'm not sure why I'm not getting the same treatment as everyone else here (helpfulness, answers) but I'll have my phone guy deal with the issue for me. He roots phones so I'm sure he knows all about iptables too. Feel free to close my question or whatever the mods do with unanswered questions here. – Shar Mar 7 at 22:24
