If I visit a malicious link with Samsung Browser, can the attacker successfully carry out a drive-by attack?

  • If a random person answers below as "yes", would you find that to be satisfying / would you be content with just that? If no, it is best to sketch out your problem in detail because as the question stands a random yes or no would suffice as an answer.

  • hi i want to know if an attacker can activate my camera and record stuff if i visited a malicious website? would he be able to use my camera with my knowledge or without the camera app actually opening itself ? would he be able to use drive by download attack to do such things ?

  • camera access depends on app permissions you have once granted for browser app. drive by attack is impossible/unrelated to browser/website (do you connect your device to foreign wifi?)
