I am using this android app called "My Finances" from some developer 7csolutions. This app is for tracking your finances and expenses and i have been using it for like 5 years, so i have all my financial records there.

This app can make .fds file with all your records so you can back it up and load it in new phone. Thing is i switched from Nokia 7.2 to S20FE abouth a month ago and on this phone is not possible to create this backup copy or export data, when i try it says "You can't export data. file open failed EPERM (Operation not permitted)" BUT, i have this exact version on Nokia 7.2 and Xiaomi Mi A1 and it works fine on both, so probably there is some problem with my phone access to storage or something, more than trouble with the app. I tried multiple save location and checked well that app has all the permisions.

Does anybody had similar problem on this phone before? Did you see this message "You can't export data. file open failed EPERM (Operation not permitted)" in some other app? I am trying to contact devs of course but no response for now. I am not the dev, just a user.

On devices running Android 11+ you need to access shared storage in a total different way. If shared storage is only used for backup may be the app has not yet been adapted for those new Android versions?

Searching for the error message returned this Stack Overflow Q&A. I don't think we can fix this issue, need the app developers to fix it on their code.
