I'd like to remove one of the items from my Google Authenticator app but I cannot find any option to do so.

There is a Q&A on the Apple Stack Exchange which suggests there should be a Pencil icon to edit them. However, on my phone (Pixel 6 Pro), there is only an option to Add a new item, and Settings only shows the option to adjust the date/time correction.

Long-press the entry to select it, then tap "Remove" (trash bin icon) on the top-right corner.

  • It does not work anymore. I did long-press but regardless of how long I press it just copies the code.

@Valentyn I just tried on the latest version (v6.0) both on Pixel 3a (Android 12L, code not copied) and Galaxy M12 (Android 13, code copied), and the menu on the top bar still changes. Could you mention the app version, device model, and Android version?

  • Also I noticed that I have one entry that I cannot delete. Others can be deleted! I think I broke the Google Auth App.
