I am trying to unlock my Lenovo K8 Plus' bootloader, but as soon as I type fastboot oem unlock or fastboot flashing unlock it says (remote: 'Unlock operation is not allowed'). On the device it says oem unlock failed. Rebooting in 3secs. What should I do?

1Most modern Android devices have an "OEM unlock" switch behind the Developer options before allowing to unlock the bootloader. Can you check if Lenovo has such a switch?– Andrew T. ♦Feb 8 at 7:58
