I was read this idea Enable Chrome's Reader View manually, when it isn't offered?

To open a web in reader mode using chrome://dom-distiller but then since I want to open it in chrome tab, I have no idea why it's show ActivityNotFoundException. Anyone can explain why it happened? I though chrome tab is using chromium engine.

As example I use this url to try the distiller functionalities

customTabsIntent.launchUrl(context, Uri.parse("chrome-distiller://00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000_e432dcfb7f661c441c6274dea453a154f2653ef53fd9c0cfeacd0454ce94ffe0/?url=https://economy.okezone.com/read/2023/02/08/320/2761309/515-ton-stok-minyakita-belum-didistribusikan-produsen-migor-dipanggil-polisi?page=1"))

  • Welcome to Android Enthusiasts. Aside from that programming question being off-topic here, I don't think Chrome exposes its internal chrome*:// URLs for other apps to access, thus the URL needs to be input directly from the Chrome app.
