I am using android's mail app on my Razr M for my Yahoo mail. Last week, I tried to "reply to all" on an email that was sent to over 100 people and yahoo rejected it claiming it was suspicious activity. That's fine, but how do I get my Razr to stop trying to resend the email. I deleted it from the drafts folder in my Yahoo account but that didn't help. Every few minutes I get an error message on my phone saying that the email was not sent. Help?

  • Have you tried stopping the application from the setting menu? – ZnewmaN Apr 5 '13 at 19:30
  • Check if you can find a folder called "outgoing" or similar, and whether your mail is in there (remove it then). The drafts folder is just what the name suggests (for drafts not-yet-to-send), so that's no part of it. – Izzy Apr 5 '13 at 19:54
  • Izzy - I see the message in the "Outbox" but I can't do anything to it there. When I touch it, I get a message saying "Cannot open message. Message is currently being sent and is unable to be opened." Znewman - can you give more info on how to stop the app? It is the native android email app. – Sho Apr 7 '13 at 20:37
  • @ZnewmaN - I stopped the app from running but it still won't let me do a/t to the email in the outbox. – Sho Apr 7 '13 at 20:46

Your emails might be set up as "auto resend". Go into email options, and select none.
