I've just bought an LG Optimus L7 II - P713 in Vietnam. It runs Android 4.1.2 and now I would like to root it. I just searched Google but still didn't find out how to root it.

Can I root this phone? If yes, how do I do it?

  • Since this is such a common question, there is one place where you can go to look to start. How do I root my Android Phone? – VarnerBeast14 Jun 29 '13 at 16:12
  • I've just added this question to the "rooting index" Varner already mentioned. You might still follow the link, and check available methods at the end of the list. There's e.g. "root many Android", which -- as the name suggests -- works for many Android devices running 4.x (ICS and JB), which might work for you. Please don't forget to leave your feedback: edit your question with things you've tried when you failed, or even answer your question if you found a solution. – Izzy Jun 29 '13 at 16:43
  • You can try this tool called Framaroot. The author confirmed that it worked for LG Optimus L7 II variant (P710/P713/P714/P715). The process is straightforward. – user37116 Jul 6 '13 at 14:01
  • Have you tried towelroot? You can visit the towelroot.com website and download the apk file. Make sure to enable installation from unknown sources if it's not enabled already. Generally that option is located under Settings\Security. – anonymous coward Oct 9 '14 at 14:09

Kingo Android ROOT. It's an installer for Windows. Just plug-in your phone with the USB cable and run the wizard.

Framaroot didn't work for me. So, I tried that one.
