I rooted my Lava E-Tab Connect Z7C a few weeks ago. Then I tried some commands in a terminal emulator and ran some scripts in smanager to install a custom recovery. But it didn't work.

Instead, internal storage is now inaccessible and the device lags during use. How can I reset the settings?

The device information is:

Manufacturer: Lava
Model: E-Tab Connect Z7C
Android: 4.0.4
Build: lava_Z7C_S002_20130221
  • With an obscure device like that, there's a chance that something got very broken by attempting to install incompatible images. Tfhis video which might help is the only result I found when trying to find any information about resetting the tablet. There are zero roms or compatible recovery images that I was able to find - not even a stock ROM from the manufacturer. – dotVezz Oct 30 '13 at 12:24
