I installed Android-x86 on my netbook. However, I noticed when I play some games, the mouse doesn't work. (I can only control Android with a mouse and keyboard). I can move the cursor, but clicking doesn't work.

Later, I have done some research and found that the mouse's pointer does not have the size, while touch has. That's why I cannot use the mouse in some games.

Is there any way to use a mouse as a touch? Or any app to simulate touch?

  • As a suggestion-tangent from personal experience, you'd probably best benefit from a netbook running ChromeOS or any other Linux distro instead.

This is a special case of Android, since it's not exactly the same build that most people interact with and uses hardware that most Android devices don't use (ie. touchpads designed for laptops, ethernet cards, etc.). The only useful thing I could find is from Android-x86 Project's Supported List:

Touch pad works as a touchscreen. Hard to use but not impossible

You may be best served by contributing your findings/bugs to the project through the above linked list, and perhaps the project developers can offer something more definitively helpful.
