My mobile phone stuck forever on the samsung welcome screen. I have tried to wipe data/factory reset (by pressing vol up+home+power button) but it does not work. Another way is ROM flashing by Odin but my mobile phone is not detected by the PC. I thought the problem was in the cable, so other cables have been tried and they just.. do not work properly while the cables work properly with other mobile phones. I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Any recommendations? Thank you.

  • Have you installed the Samsung drivers on you PC? From command prompt have you tried adb devices? – HasH_BrowN Oct 6 '14 at 19:24
  • @HasH_BrowN I have installed Samsung USB drivers on my PC. But when I typed "adb devices", the command prompt gave an output that adb is not recognized. Are Samsung drivers and adb different to each other? Should I install adb also to my PC? – liu Oct 7 '14 at 8:41
  • yes adb and the drivers are separate. You need to have adb installed as well. Yk – HasH_BrowN Oct 7 '14 at 16:39
