I changed my password to my Galaxy S3 and forgot it. I don't want to hard reset it because I have pictures I need to get off the device storage. I tried to setup clockwork mod and another one that I can't remember the name of at the moment but both told me they weren't able to mount the SD card. If anybody knows how to hack past the key pin or a way to recover the pics, please help. And no, my phone doesn't ask me to put in my email as a reset feature.

If you know the location where the pictures are stored you could always use ADB to pull the files or directory to your pc. This does require you to have usb debugging enabled. So if you haven't I can't help you further, sorry.
If you have, you can use this command to pull the folder/files to your pc:
adb pull location/of/pictures/* C:\location\on\pc\
If you don't know what ADB is, here's a quick tutorial: Tut for beginners ADB
Good luck!!
Use aroma file manager. A file manager which allows u to operate delete anything in recovery mode. So that u can delete the gasture key or the pin data from the root file system U can download it from xda official website

It sounds like this is a solution that will only work if the bootloader is already unlocked. May 18, 2016 at 8:40
