This tag is meant for issues with the mobile data connection. For other connection issues please use the tag relevant to those, e.g. 'wifi', 'usb' or 'bluetooth'.
While this tag is dealing with mobile data issues (i.e. data transfers via the cellular network of your provider), its counter-parts for other networks are wifi, bluetooth, and usb. If you have issues directly related to your connection, you might want to additionally use the connection-issues tag.
